You need an account to play: create it on this website or directly in the client (Create Account on the login screen).
How to install
Windows
- Download the ZIP file.
- Right-click it and choose Extract All....
- Open the extracted folder and run Ardenfall.exe.
- If Windows SmartScreen warns about an unknown publisher, click More info → Run anyway.
Android
- Open this page on your phone and download the APK.
- Tap the downloaded file. Android asks to allow installing unknown apps for your browser: open Settings, allow it, then go back.
- Tap Install, then Open.
- Updates: download the new APK and install it over the old one - your settings stay.
Linux
- Download the archive.
- Extract it:
tar xzf Ardenfall-linux.tar.gz - Run the start script / binary in the extracted folder (e.g.
./Ardenfall). 64-bit x86 Linux with OpenGL is required.
The 15.x clients install the same way.
