Ardenfall Rules
By playing Ardenfall you agree to follow these rules.
1. Character names
a) Names must not insult, harass or discriminate against anyone, and must not refer to hate groups, drugs or sexual content.
b) No random strings of letters, whole sentences, or names made to look like another player or a member of the staff.
c) No names of real famous people, companies or brands.
2. Fair play
a) Do not exploit bugs (for example duplicating items or reaching places that should be closed). Report every bug you find to the staff right away.
b) Do not use bots, macros or any program that plays for you, and do not modify the game client to gain an advantage.
c) Do not block or trap other players on purpose, for example by piling up items or standing in narrow passages.
d) Play only one character at a time (no multi-clienting).
e) Never share, sell or buy account data, and never try to get another player's password.
3. Staff
a) Do not pretend to be a gamemaster or any other member of the staff.
b) Do not threaten or insult the staff, and do not send false reports or false information.
4. Player killing
a) Do not repeatedly hunt down the same player, and do not kill players who cannot defend themselves just to harass them.
5. Chat and trading
a) No spam, no advertising of other games or servers, and no trading of game items or characters for real money.
Breaking these rules can lead to a warning, a temporary ban of characters or accounts or, in serious cases, a permanent ban and the removal of items, skills or characters, without compensation. The staff decides depending on how serious the violation was and on the player's history.
